HOW TO GET THERE: Train, Car or Bike

LOCATION: Klingemühle, Klingemühle 4, 15848 Friedland, OT Chossewitz – http://www.klingemuehle.de/

TRAIN: There are two options to travel from Berlin by train. The nearest train station is ‘Grunow (LOS)’, which is also sometimes called ‘Grunow (Niederlausitz)’.

Option 1 – Train from Berlin & Free Shuttle Bus

The first option leaves Berlin from ‘Koenigs Wusterhausen’ train station. You can take the ‘RB 36’ train in the direction of ‘Frankfurt (ODER)’. This train goes direct to ‘Grunow’. The free festival free shuttle bus leaves from ‘Grunow’ train station car park. You may have to wait in a cue for your spot on the free shuttle bus.

Option 2 – Train from Frankfurt (Oder) & Free Shuttle Bus

The second option is to catch a train to ‘Frankfurt (ODER)’. Many different trains pass through ‘Frankfurt (ODER)’ from all over Germany. From ‘Frankfurt (Oder)’ you need to transfer to the ‘RB 36’ in the direction Berlin. You need to jump off at ‘Grunow’ train station and find the free festival shuttle bus in the train station car park.

Here you can find the times for both directions of the RB 36
www.neb.de/fileadmin/redakteure/Fahrpläne/2018/RB36s_Fahrplan2018_web.pdf

Once at the station you can take one of our shuttle buses to take you to the festival.

Shuttle Times:

Lakeside Film Festival has organized two shuttle buses that will pick people up from Grunow Train station and drive to the festival site. Sunday will also drive people back to the station. These shuttles only run during peak times:

Friday 16: 00 – 21:30

Saturday 11:45 – 21:30

Sunday 11:00 – 17:30

BICYCLES: You can also bring a bike and ride from the train station. It’s a beautiful ride! Be aware that the rail staff may ask you to wait for the next train (1 hour) if the train is full.
